Genzano di Roma: The city of Genzano di Roma is located near the lake of Nemi, on the Via Appia, at 465 m over the sea level, 29km from Rome, 33km from Anzio and 39 km from Latina. It is famous for its vine production and the numerous monuments in the area which date back from the Roman Imperium to the Middle Ages. One of the local annual events is the "infiorata" of the Corpus Domini (June), a religious event where the citizens of Genzano use thousands of fresh flowers to create colourful paintings on one the streets of Genzano.
